NIGERIAN ECONOMIC SOCIETY RE-ELECTES AE-FUNAI STAFF INTO ITS GOVERNING COUNCIL…..
During the 59th Annual General Meeting of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES) held at the Nigerian Air Force Conference Centre, Abuja on the 18th of September 2019, one of our own, Dr. Basil A. Chukwu, of the Department of Economics and Developments, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, was re-elected into the Governing Council of the society as the Publicity Secretary for a period of two years.

In a letter addressed to the Vice-Chancellor of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, Professor Chinedum Nwajiuba, the newly elected NES Secretary, expressed profound gratitude to VC, for providing him the platform to fly the flag of this great institution at both national and international levels. Dr. Basil promised to use his position in the Council of the Society to contribute his quota towards the repositioning of the Department of Economics and Development Studies of AE-FUNAI, to compete favorably with other great institutions of the world.
