Location: Lagos Job Function and Responsibilities Develop marketing strategies and lead the product marketing unit to achieve same as applicable to sales at the Retail Outlets. Ensure the respective Station & Retail managers coordinate activities and align same with the units’ targets Manage and relate with executive management to executive sales and operational strategies to maximize profitability and ensure return on investment. Responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the retail sales team in line with management goal and objective. Responsible for providing sales leadership and closure on all sales transactions. Collate and justify all reports from retail sales and operations to reflect company decision, policy and effective execution of retail processes. Develop strategies for the maintenance of all Retail structures and equipment generating income under R&S unit for improved profitability to the company. Co-ordinate lubricants marketing activities to ensure smooth sales and generate high contribution to corporate profit. Provide leadership to the R&S unit working in harmony with other stake holders within the Company for positive performance and profit contribution. Secure good deals of all white product lines from vendors and ensure the retail executives maintains adequate stock levels at all Stations. Ensure zero stock out on Total White Product across all retail stations and also supervise the market share penetration strategy. Develop relationship with relevant Government supervisory agencies for the Retail Station and maintain such to the interest of the Company. Supervise implementation strategies for Non Fuel Revenue and franchise opportunities development at Retail Stations. Skills and Competencies Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Oil and Gas Industry Knowledge Laws and Legislation of product haulage and delivery in the Oil and Gas industry Risk Management Generic Skills Effective interpersonal relationships Detail Orientation Integrity and Discretion Initiative/ Proactive Analytical skills / Problem solving Resilience, Tenacity and Integrity Interpersonal skills Communication (oral & written) Qualifications: Minimum of a BSc in Economics, Marketing or Business Administration or Engineering. Professional certification in sales and marketing preferable Relevant Experience in retail business management. 7 - 10 years’ experience in retail business with a minimum of 5 in a managerial role capacity in the downstream sales and marketing sector of the industry.
