That floor plan you posted can cost anything from 10million to 100million Naira and even more.

The cost of your building has a lot to do with the material, finishing and level of workmanship.

So asking for the price of a floor plan that doesn't even have dimensions is ridiculous.

Tantamount to asking, how much is a mobile phone? How much is a laptop? Etc.

It's relative. Expect your house plans to cost between ₦40,000 to ₦300,000+, depending on the scope of the project and who you hire to produce the drawings. Drafters, building designers and architects often charge a percentage of total construction costs rather than an hourly rate.

You should know that Building is actually wide. Ever heard of an estimator? That's a builder who specializes on estimating.

I spent five grueling years studying quantity Surveying and you think i will just come and give you estimate for free? Lol

What are you saying? Who is an estimator & what qualifies you to be one?. In universities prospective builders take few quantity surveying courses to have an idea about estimating. Yes seasoned builders can give a rough estimates, architects and civil engrs too, but not as specialized and accurate as a quantity surveyor whose primary function is building cost analysis

The rooms in your drawing, what are the dimensions ? Ie. 12ft by 14ft. 10ft by 8ft.

And you want somebody to cost it for you.

You didn't outline the dimensions. That is, how many feet it's the rooms, lounge, kitchen, terrace and other places. It would help to get the square meters.

I think that our education is in trouble. What happened to approximate estimation using the volume of the house and a constant to give this guy an idea of the cost this building. I would have done that but I am currently busy. The dimensions in feet can be converted to meters while the height of the building could be three metres plus the height of the kingpost. That gives you the volume of the house. Then multiply that with a constant. Thanks

Depends on the topography of the land but on the average, a 4-coach dpc is okay on a flat surface and area not erosion-prone. I am not an engineer but I have done many of this kind of work with engineers. You can easily assign dimension to the plan. An average room is 12feet, depending on what you want while an average toilet is 5feet also depends on you. My rough estimate assuming the rooms are 12feet, toilets 4feet and total length 44feet shows that the living room is 16feet by 20feet. We are all here to learn. This is my rough estimate. It won't cost you more than N800,000 up to dpc both materials and labour.
