Marine Engineer
An indigenous offshore servicing company requires the services of an Marine Engineer. Experience working in FSO, FPSO or oil tanker will be added advantage,

Responsibilities:
Coordinates planning and execution of preventative maintenance and repairs on all marine related equipment,
Review work requests and compare them with previous work completed on ships in order to ensure that costs are economically sound
Analyze requisitions in order to determine feasibility of request proposals
Supervise procurement of materials/spares needed to repair marine equipment and machinery
Prepare technical reports of all on board repairs and maintenance for use in engineering management or by procurement personnel
Keeping an updated and accurate historical record of all maintenance done as well as equipment supplied with certification documents.
Ensure the preventative and planned maintenance program is carried out in accordance with international safety Procedures
Prepare and present technical and daily reports Work in various offshore and field operations
Verify the integrity of all safety critical equipment and participates in internal audits.
Supervise other engineers and crew members and train them for routine and emergency duties

Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering/ Graduate programs in this field are also required
8 Years’ experience in Engineering related role Experience onboard or in Oil Engineering/ Construction Services is a must
Demonstrable ability to work within time budget constraints
Show high technical competence in key discipline areas of vessel machinery inspection, repairs and maintenance.
