The Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State has come out to deny report in the media on Monday that it has concluded plans in collaboration with Magnus Abe to sponsor a protest against the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi in Abuja.



The group in the alerm raised alleged that a whooping sum of #300million has also been rolled out by both Rivers PDP and Magnus Abe to sponsor the said protest in Abuja against the person of Rotimi Amaechi, which they said is still not unconnected to Senator Magnus Abe’s plot to further destroy the Leader and Rivers State All Progressive Congress.


Reacting to this in an interview, the Publicity Secretary of Rivers State Peoples Democratic Party, Darlington Oji said the claim is a mere plot to robe the Rivers PDP into what he described as calamity that has befallen the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State.

Oji stated, “The Rivers PDP will have nothing to lose if the APC in Rivers State come together. In fact, for us, that will put the PDP government in the state on check.”...
