Nigeria have qualified for the final of the on-going CAF African Women's Championships in South Africa by defeating Cameroon's women 5-1 on Thursday.

A hat trick from Perpetua Nkwocha and a goal each from Helen Ukaonu and Ugochi Oparanozie ensured that the Nigerians ran away with an impressive victory over the ten-man Lionesses after Cathy Bou Djou was sent off for a second yellow card in the 27th minute. Another volley in the 74th minute after the Cameroonian defence found itself at sixes and sevens took her day's tally up. She completed her hat trick in the 81st minute from the penalty spot after she had been brought down by the Cameroonian defence taking her total in four games to ten goals.
