The Lilypond Trailer park in Apapa area of Lagos was in a chaotic state as the Taskforce charged with the duty of ridding the Apapa gridlock clashed with truckers over alleged extortion which has left no fewer than 3 persons dead. Information gathered revealed that an allegation of bribery and extortion levelled against the head of the task force team, Commissioner of police, Hakeem Odumosu by the truckers was the immediate cause of the fracas. The truckers accused Odumosu of scuttling the working call-up arrangement by passing trucks outside Lilypond pack while those in the park were left unattended to.
