Wow! This is a great news. Can you imagine that our own yoruba word FANIMOROUS coined from the word FANIMORA has now been added to the dictionary. If you doubt me, go to Google to verify. See the dictionary meaning of the word... Fanimorous: to be highly attracted or enticed by something. it's a magnetic vibe that wants you to have, own or be with. this word is of nigerian origin. it is derived from the yoruba word “fanimora” which means to hold close and the suffix ous is added to it. 1 Like |

NIGHTMAREOO7: At this point it will be hard to help you when u have internet.... ..is it the fact that it came from a Yoruba word that is hard for you digest or u just feel it isn’t possible for an English word to be derived from another language....it’s not a big deal..many English words don’t have English origin..: some are French originated, Spanish, Portuguese, and so on... 1 Like 1 Share |
