In Nigeria, government gives no attention to any citizen. What they attend to is looting. Stealing money for their unborn generation is their hobby.

We are in the end times those that know their God shall be strong in faith and shall have their strength renewed.

It's a shame seeing these chains of events occur in Nigeria, there is always a day for justice and those responsible will be brought to the books. the word of God says there is time for everything.

long time no see oga kemicalreaction..

but lets be serious here, what would you do as an officer of the law if some misguided youth started throwing objects at you for merely obeying orders to man a baracade, destroying government properties that were assigned to you and you have to pay for or loose your Job and source of income without pension after risking your life

what exactly should the officers do.. Run? and get sacked and court mashalled with imprisonment on mutiny, let them destroy government vehicles and get deranked demoted and have thier 40k salary slashed by half?

And you think that the best way to tackle these issues is by killing them?

Protest is a way of correcting certain ills done by the government.

The people in the corridors of power is not upto 2% of the entire population, and to think that those 2% makes the decisions on how the remaining 98% live their lives is crazy. Now when the 98% are not comfortable with the way things are being done, the best way to bring the 2% back to their senses is through a protest.

If it is a sane country with working leaders. What they should do is to listen to why these people are protesting and then find a lasting solutions to those reasons and not send soldiers paid with the masses money to go kill them extra judicially.

The earlier we start making our leaders accountable for their actions, the better for us.

But I guess we will not, nepotism, tribalism and hypocrisy is the other of the day in that country.

Why must I condemn the bad actions of mr A? He is my tribes man, we are of the same religion, I benefit from the government on the interim.

ok let me ask you if you were an officer given order by authorities to man a team of protesters who burnt down fire fighting equipments and blocked staff of foriegn affiars ministry from accessing thier offices what would be your line of action..

remember any damaged property is on your salary and possibly pension, if you disobey an order and vacate where you were stationed you just commited mutiny and you might be court marshalled dissmissed and jail please tell me what you would do

Shelloween:
Their primary objective is to protect the lives and properties of it's citizens not to destroy them. Those protestors were unarmed, thus posing no serious threat to warrant the use firearms on them. My brother, don't let hate and sentiments cloud your reasoning.

It is high time we stop making excuses for men and women trained to always think before they act, people trained not to react to any slight provocations.
