What To Do When There Is Fire Outbreak by chinavs9ja(m): 4:02pm On Oct 29, 2019
This season there is always a high record of fire outbreak in farms, houses, and workplace, e.t.c

What should be the first priority in the event of a fire is to have you and your family safe as soon as possible. It is not possible to overemphasize the importance of knowing what to do in the event of a fire. Because how you react in a fire situation depends only on how much you have prepared for it.

You may think that it is likely not possible to fall victim to a house fire. But what is important to realize that it is of your own interest to know what to do if the unexpected happens. Owing to this, your first priority in case of the fire outbreak is to get yourself and your family members out as quickly as possible. Obviously, you won’t want to lose your valuables. But, under no circumstance should you stop to get your valuables.
If you want to know how to stay safe during a house fire, as well as increasing your chances of survival, simply follow these safety precautions:

React Immediately You See Any Sign Of Fire
Try to get out of the house as safe as possible when you see any signs of fire like smoke or fire alarm. Don’t try to find your phone, valuables or anything else you see important. Your only concern is to get out of the house as fast as you can and nothing as important as that. A lot of emphases is placed on this because many people have lost their lives in the process of getting something from the house on fire without knowing that they have little time to escape. Another thing you can also do is also let others know if you’re the first person to discover.

Check For Smoke Before Exiting Through Door
Don’t walk through the door if you see smoke under it! Because it is expected that there will be fire where there is smoke. If the door is open and there is a fire that prevents you from leaving the room, close the door to protect yourself from the fire. If the door is hot or there is smoke underneath and there are no other doors to pass through, your only option is to find a way to escape through the window.

Try To Ward Off Smoke If You Can’t Get Out
Obviously, this may not be easy, but you should try not to be scared if you can’t escape through the fire. Take steps to prevent smoke and stay safe until you get help. In other smoke-free, all you have to do is close the door and cover all the openings and cracks around it with a cloth. It is important to emphasize that fear should be avoided as it can put you at risk.

Roll On The Floor If Your Clothes Catch Fire

It is possible for your clothes to catch fire in the process of escaping through the fierce fire. However, you have to stop whatever you are doing and roll on the ground to stop the fire. You should endeavour to cover your face while doing this to protect yourself.
