I'm currently using puran file recovery and im getting some of my files back but some are damaged while others are oversize. a 2 minute video is showing 200mb. the recovered files right now are more than 20gb but the memory card is only 16gb

Use EaseUS data recovery, not free though!

I do like Stellar free data recovery software as it allows to recover deleted or lost files from hard drive at free of cost. However, with this free software amount of recoverable data is limited but you can upgrade it at anytime if you want to recover data beyond the offered limit.

When recovering a file always use a memory card or hard disk with more space.

Also note that you're likely to get back all your files
