When 90% of football related match threads on various Nigerian and African forums would be of the NPL (NIGERIAN PREMIER LEAGUE) instead of foreign leagues

When 80% of the news making front page on football on various Nigerian and African forums would be of the NPL instead of foreign leagues

When people queue up at viewing centers all over Nigeria and beyond to pay double fee just to watch our Nigerian league live and on TV instead of foreign league

When Nigerians and others would be happy discussing Nigerian league/Player instead of foreign players

Can't wait when Nigerians would stop hating themselves, insulting themselves by not scrambling all over themselves just to watch foreign leagues.

If the Spaniards were like Nigerians, there wouldn't have been a strong league like what they have now.

If the Scott were like Nigerians, there wouldn't have been a relatively good league like what they have now.

If the Dutch were like Nigerians, there wouldn't have been a strong league like what they have now.

If the English were like Nigerians, there wouldn't have been a strong league like what they have now.

If the CONGOLESE were like Nigerians, there wouldn't have been a better organised league like what they have now.

If the KENYANS were like Nigerians, there wouldn't have been a small but purposeful league like what they have now.

If the Germans were like Nigerians, there wouldn't have been a strong league like what they have now.

If the Italians were like Nigerians, there wouldn't have been a strong league like what they have now.

If the EGYPTIANS were like Nigerians, there wouldn't have been a highly spirited league like what they have now.

If the TUNISIANS were like Nigerians, there wouldn't have been a standard league like what they have now.

If the ZAMBIANS were like Nigerians, there wouldn't have been a league like what they have now.

If the SOUTH AFRICANS were like Nigerians, they wouldn't have been a luxurious league like what they have now.

Before anyone respects you, you MUST first RESPECT yourself.

The Spaniards respected themselves by sticking to their own through thick and thin, now they can all see and reap the never ending rewards

The SOUTH AFRICANS respected themselves by sticking to their own through thick and thin, now they can all see with excitement the rewards

The KENYANS respected themselves by sticking to their own through thick and thin, now they can all see the results in their own time.

The Germans respected themselves by sticking to their own through thick and thin, now they can all see the excellent results.

The TUNISIANS respected themselves by sticking to their own through thick and thin, now they can all see the results

The ZAMBIANS respected themselves by sticking to their own through thick and thin, now they can all see the results

Even the Ghanians still respect theirs unlike the Nigerians where they hardly see anything good in themselves, even when few are trying to make progress, they shoot themselves down by comparing them with established leagues without putting into consideration that these leagues were once like theirs.

I weep for this WASTED generation, a generation that hates themselves more than their "enemies", a generation that cannot do anything right individually, but ready to shoot down the few that decides to try, a WASTED generation who likes to reap where they did not sow, THEY LOVE THE ORGANIZED LEAGUES, THE FINE STADIUMS AND THE COOL AND EXCITING ATMOSPHERE, BUT THEY ARE NOT READY TO WORK, PARTICIPATE, CORRECT, FIGHT to make theirs look like their counterparts.

LAZY, LOUSY, WIDE MOUTHS, NAGGING, PESSIMISTIC BUNCH OF PEOPLE!!! wake up from your slumbers, pick up the diggers, shovels, headpan, roll up your sleeves, get to work, makes yours what's worth celebrating, stop waiting for an angel to fall from the sky, NO ANGEL FIXED ANY OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED LEAGUES, they did it themselves, the earlier Nigerians realize this, the better their own indigenous produces get.

Man, i took time to visit the foreign league section, couldn't believe my eyes with all the match day threads springing up, even for clubs like wolves, cat, sunderland and co, i can't but weep at the way we have totally neglected our own, but we are quick to insult them. Something good is going on in our league, yet none of them is ready to come support it.

I am freaking angry angry angry angry

I feel you but there's nothing you can do to curb their addiction to those foreign leagues. Lets just concentrate on supporting, promoting and hyping our league.

Na free world, so each to his own

To each his own but these people are ready to come badmouth the league as soon as any negative news is reported, the leagues they are supporting do not care a pin about them, do you know how many fans of these clubs have died? yet they are nothing but "nonexistence" to these clubs because they don't even know them embarassed embarassed.
