Wizkid’s name popped up twice at the recently relinquished nominee’s list for the BET Soul Train Awards scheduled to hold in Las Vegas on the 17th of November, 2019.

This nomination list relinquished on the 25th of October, with 12 categories nominated Brown Skin Girl in two categories namely; The Ashford Simpson Songwriter’s Award and Best Collaboration.

While the first category for Songwriter mentioned Wizkid’s full designation, Ayodeji Balogun, in line with the designations of other writers including Beyonce, the second award for ‘Best Collabo’ singled out Beyonce who is the owner of the musical composition, but additionally gave credit to the artistes who got featured on it like Wizkid and Blu Ivy Carter.
