Europeans whose game it is are not even as unnecessarily passionate about European football games as Nigerians are. Here in the US, you hardly hear or see the youths talking about football, or any games for that matter, compared to the Nigerian youths.

There's a lot of misplaced priorities going on amongst the Nigerian populace, especially the youths. They fight over football matches and it is unimaginable for a youth not to 'belong' to one European team or the other. Energies and passion that should be spent on human development are diverted to watching European football.
This is a big shame!

No one cares whether you go mad on the streets of London or anywhere in the world all because of football. Here, no one even knows Nigeria exists, except for the bad reasons.

Great nations are not built by its youths spending away precious times watching and hyperventilating over foreign games. Idleness, unproductiveness and lack of focus have really messed up our brains. Shame!
