I recently bought mtn recharge card from my local vendor (store) and use the normal mtn code to load it *555*pin# and send, I immediately receive an SMS from MTN Nigeria that if I use the code again, My line would be blocked.

And I cross check the mtn recharge card and saw
Dail: *3551*pin# and send.

I thought it was fake until I tried it and the code works.

This is MTN Nigeria Updated code after the fight between South Africa and Nigeria.

So confusing.

MTN is now own by a Nigerian.

I'm in Lagos and I recharged with *3551* this morning, personally, I feel MTN,didn't carry their customers along, I tried recharging with the old code and it was saying incorrect pin and even threatened to bar my line after 5 attempt....

Thats how i embarrased myself few days ago at the place i bought mtn recharge card, arguing wit d lady until someone there told me mtn has a new way of recharging.. Buh who ah go blame, my ignorance or Mtn.
