The Speaker of the House of Representatives is the presiding officer of the Federal House of Representatives of Nigeria, Femi Gbajabiamila, has congratulated President Mohammadu over the validation of his election victory by the Supreme Court of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Supreme court on Wednesday 30 October, dismissed the People Democratic Party(PDP) and its candidate Atiku Abubark appeal challenging the president victory in the February 23 general election. Gbajabiamila said the news of the supreme court verdict did not come as a surprise because of the massive support the president received during the 2019 Presidential Elections from Nigerians of diverse backgrounds.
