The Appeal Court sitting in Enugu, Enugu State, on Friday sacked the member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency of Ebonyi State in the House of Representatives, Honourable Lazarus Nweru Ogbee.
Ogbee was elected for the second term under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).
In sacking Hon. Ogbee, who Chairs the House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, the appellate court upheld the judgment of the Election Petition Tribunal, sitting in Abakaliki which had earlier ruled that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the election, Comrade Chinedu Ogah, was the actual winner of the election.

Ogbee had approached the appellate court urging it to set aside the judgement of the Elections Petition Tribunal which sacked him from the office.
The judges in their ruling upheld the judgement of the Election Tribunal and ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to immediate issue Chinedu Ogah of the APC certificate of return having scored the highest number of valid votes cast in the election.

There is no how Ebonyi can give Buhari/APC that large quantity of votes during 2019 election without an APC member winning any single seat.

Quite Impossible because if such votes over one hundred and ninety something thousand votes can emerge definitely an APC member must surely win a single seat there.

He worked against Atiku that's the fact.

In giving votes, someone must win so the ruling is in order.

Like play, like play, Chinedu Ogah (a.k.a Chi-boy) has become a member of House of Representatives. Infact, thuggery is the surest path to success in Nigerian political space. His victory will surely give APC a new life in Ebonyi State, as I see more PDP members decamping in no distant time because of Umahi's high-handedness. Congrats to him.

Ebonyi didn't vote for Obi. Atiku just garnered votes scarcely there.

Then at least APC need win seats there because of large votes they got that day.
