These auditors go to companies, the company may be owing 10million to the FG as taxes, the auditors and the company would share it 60/40% and cook the books.

The govt auditors at the site would take 4 million, while the company would keep 6 million.

And they always demand raw cash in Ghana-must go bags, to prevent alarm going off in their accounts as govt officials.

Do you have any idea how much was inside the bullion van, where the money came from and what it was meant for?
What if the total money in each van was 2.49 million naira?
Do you think EFCC has enough evidence to prosecute the man in whose house the vans were seen driven into?
What if there was no chance of proving that any law was broken?
Please, let us start working with facts and not by emotion.
The man did not deny that bullion van came into his compound. He claimed the money brought into his compound was his money and that he can choose to spend his money anyhow he pleases.
He claimed he is not a public office holder or a government contractor.
The only way you can hold him on money laundry is if the money in question can be proven to be over 5 million naira cash.

Let us stop raising dust unnecessarily. The EFCC won't go after any case they know they can't win.
Maybe we should focus the energy derived from the little food consumed on other issues that we have the chance of correcting.
