The Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has appointed a new VC for the Delta State University to commence office from the first day of November 2019.

A letter signed by the secretary to the state governor Chiedu Ebie,reads

” OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY TO THE STATE GOVERNMENT GOVERNOR’S OFFICE GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
It is hereby announced for the information of the general public especially Deltans that His Excellency, Senator, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State, has approved the appointment of a new Vice Chancellor for Delta State University, Abraka. He is Prof. Andy 0. Egwunyenga. Prof. Andy O. Egwuyenga would be assuming office on 1st of 2. December, 2019, upon the expiration of the tenure of the current Vice Chancellor, Prof. Victor F. Peretomode on 30th of November, 2019. ”
