1kings 22: 19-22
Micaiah continued, “Therefore hear the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne with all the multitudes of heaven standing around him on his right and on his left.

And the LORD said, ‘Who will entice Ahab into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?’

“One suggested this, and another that.
Finally, a spirit came forward, stood before the LORD and said, ‘I will entice him.’

“‘By what means?’ the LORD asked.
“‘I will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his prophets,’ he said.

“‘You will succeed in enticing him,’ said the
LORD. ‘Go and do it.’

Here we can see that a very critical meeting was held in heaven about King Ahab. God Himself called for a meeting and all the spirits resident in heaven were in attendance.

The agenda of the meeting was how Ahab would be deceived to fight in a battle and be killed. After several suggestions, a spirit suggested that it would manipulate Ahab's prophets to decive him to go and fight in the battle. God approved of the idea, took the decision and promptly ended the meeting.

Ahab was one of the most evil kings ever in the history of Israel. God grew increasingly fed up with Ahab and planned carefully how to get rid of him in a meeting.

Here we can see the origin of meetings and decision making that we have in the physical realm.

Meetings originated from the spiritual realm; a lot of decisions are taken in the spiritual realm and we see the result of the meetings everyday in the physical realm. God usually holds meetings in heaven to take important decisions; so too does the devil and his agents.

In Ahab's case, he disguised himself and went into the battle believing no one would see him and kill him. But because the spiritual supercede the physical, some one accidentally shot him with an arrow and he bled to death. 1 kings 22:34-37.

A lot of meetings are held in the spiritual realm daily to decide what happens to us in the physical.


Luke 9:28-33
About eight days after Jesus said this, he took Peter, John and James with him and went up onto a mountain to pray.

As he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning. Two men, Moses and Elijah, appeared in glorious splendor, talking with Jesus. They spoke about his departure, which he was about to bring to fulfillment at Jerusalem.

Peter and his companions were very sleepy, but when they became fully awake, they saw his glory and the two men standing with him. As the men were leaving Jesus, Peter said to him,

“Master, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.” (He did not know what he was saying.)

Here we can see another critical meeting on the mount of transfiguration. Moses and Elijah met with Jesus to discuss his death and resurrection in Jerusalem. So even before Jesus' death for our salvation, there was a lot of deliberations in heaven about it.

The truth is that most of what happens to us and to our environment are decided spiritually in meetings! Nothing ever happens by chance or accident.

We sincerely thank God for the year 2019; but do you know as this year is slowly wrapping up, a lot of meetings are going on spiritually to determine what happens to us before this year is over?

God has His agenda for this year for us and so too does the enemy of our souls. As this year is concluding, God is carefully concerned about all His plans for us this year being actualized; so too does the devil.

Most spiritual meetings take place at midnight between 12-3am because the spiritual realm is highly active then. I will advocate we spend the remaining midnights of 2019 praising God to invoke His favor. Praise makes God joyful and happy.

Firstly, we need to invoke God's favor at midnight so that all His good plans for us for this year would be fulfilled. Secondly, we need to invoke God's favor at midnight to stop the evil plans of the enemy before they can be fulfilled.

Don't be deceived; as this year is ending, a lot of critical meetings are going on to fulfill their agendas. Be alert!
