The Devaluation Of Nigerian Currency since 2015 By Weak Analysts is a timed bomb by mrcoolautofix(m): 11:37am On Nov 04, 2019
Hello there,
I want to shade some light on one of the most devastating issues that is currently affecting between 80 to 90% of Nigerian.

It is one of the challenging thoughts that has been swimming in my hearts since the crash of Nigerian economy that kicked in after 2015 general election.

The war trade between China and US that made Donald trump to place 10% Tax on every import from China to US and In response, Chinese government for the first time after a decade devalued yuen only by 7% august 2019 which I believed It Worth it as a counter measure to assist investors who sees the tax as barricade to their business in China,

In relation to Nigerian according to media report ,CBN single handedly devalued naira against US about 120$ to dollars while president buhari was away, Christ not even 10% or 20%

thats a total strangulation of Nigerian currency

on what reason for my curiosity?, that in so doing impartation cost will be high and exportation cost will decline,

Christ! I am running out of bullet here what will some folks who value the process growth of any nation economy wanna cripple their currency strength all to stop or reduce citizens from importation of commodities that is neither available here by raw materials or produced here such as cars, cellohone, laptop computer, and some other daily used equipment and gadget's?

It makes me feels like the old needs to stay and watch while the vibrant youths leads by examples,

Is it not a common sense that by so doing inflation will rock any piece of products imported?

Even if you levied a huge taxes on the import, you are significantly increasing the cost of the comodityy in market and drive merchant in to production of counterfeit to make more profits if the quality controls organization failed to perform their primary duty?

The second reason for the devaluetion was to force citizens into producing their products

Where is the infrastructure and environment that will enable such second opinion to thrive here in Nigeria?

Is it the constant power supply?
Good road for transport ?
Potable water available ?
Is it the good medical facilities ?
Any infrastructure from government to indivual for industrialization?
Is there any government grant that is targeted on both small and medium scale production of commodities the like of which in statistics shows the 80% percent interest of it citizens imports anaually by undiluted research?

I quite don't believe the false claim of CBN devaluation of naira without the approval of federal government of Nigeria,

when did CBN startrd operating autonomously?

Why don't Nigerian government focus on development and implementation of infrastructure that will encourage Small scale production of commodities, invest in it to fast pedal and facilitate process of local commodities production, with a projection of 3 years in different areas and let go off devaluation of Nigerian currency?

Since Adam Nigerian currency has suffered constant devaluation anf for fact, that's the development that has constantly evolved from good to bad fro bad to worse, from worse to your turn in Nigerian for decades..

If the local scale production is encoraged and infrastructure is put in place, there is no need for devaluation of naira, no body will want to go to US. Europ, Asia or Uk for enslavement, there will be no yahoo yahoo, if Nigerian currency regained it strength to dollars,

No body will important product he or she can source locally from where it will be less expensive cos it will not sale,

Importation will take care of it self and be strangled to death or reduce to insignificant percentage,

If the implementation and investment into local production is in place and the rate of import is still high, then impartation should be banned for enablement of growth in the local production of commodities,

And by so doing inflation will take care of it self,
naira will aggressively gain power in the parallel market..

Except if the underdevelopement of Nigerian is an architectural work of western world for economical enslavement of Nigerian which your leaders are bribed to keep it drawned no matter what.

Listen buhari might have the right concept for development but the approach is terrible, the diversification he mentioned during his election an all the rest you know is shooting the a bird on fly.

If you old folks don't understand the simplicity of infrastructural development I can as assist with, deal with every 80% percent need hat will provoke average business marchant into importantation,

Some said China devalued their currency in other to attract investors which played as planed and implemented for one reason, they have infrastructure that is heathy for sustainability and growth of any business

Were is your infrastructure?

Bring it here.

is it is functional medical facilities that makes midle class fly to US dubai or india
bring it here,
If investors who see Nigerian market projected it for good environment for their business are scare of power outage,
bring steady power supply here

If there no infrastructure, revalue Nigerian currency cos no matter the devaluation without a heathy infrastructure will attract no fly to invest in Nigerian.
