The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, said the current promoters of the opposition All Progressives Congress in the state allegedly frittered away opportunities for the state’s development when they were in power.
Diri spoke during the campaign visit of the PDP to Agbere, Ebedebiri and Sagbama town, the headquarters of the Sagbama Local Government Area.
The PDP standard bearer promised the people that his government would not neglect Sagabama if elected, adding that the area remained a stronghold of the party.
He urged the people to vote for the party to continually attract more development to the area.
Governor Seriake Dickson enjoined the people to make use of their PVCs wisely and vote the symbolic umbrella of the PDP on the day of the election to ensure sustainable development
