CAG Congratulates Ogor On His Victory At Appeal Court

The members of Continuity Advancement Group (CAG), a social political pressure group, and her National Leader, Dcn. Prince Godwin Ogorugba, wishes to congratulate Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor on his comfirmation as the rightful winner of the February 23rd National Assembly general election.

The Appeal court sitting in Benin, Edo state. On Monday has dismissed the cases filed against Leo Ogor. The court upheld the decision of the election petition tribunal in Asaba which had earlier declared Ogor as duly elected winner against Hon Joel Onowakpor of the APC in the Feb. 23rd National Assembly elections.

In the judgement delivered by a three-member panel of the court, led by Justice Adamu Jauro declared that the appeal by Onowakpor lacks merit, as they failed woefully to proof their case.

This is a good development for the Isoko people as our principal will continue to advocate and work diligently for the betterment of his constuents and Nigeria in the Green Chamber.

This Victory shows that In the Feb. 2019 elections, Isoko people overwhelmingly voted for Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor, therefore no amount of opposition can contest that mandate.

With today’s judgment, is time for Isoko people from all political parties and all interest groups to rise up and support our Honorable Member to continue with his good works in the Green Chamber.
