Nowadays not only an army can do it. An ordinary person who has bought a rifle is able to kill pythons. Moreover, there is ar 15 under 1000 and that's very cheap. So, such prices make this very popular gun available nearly for everybody. I don't know if it is good or bad, but killing pythons is not the best idea.
