I am not even going to ask who has not watched the Lionheart movie; because, come on, who hasn’t?

Genevieve Nnaji’s Lionheart is a Nollywood masterpiece; a blend of culture, passion, and entertainment. Furthermore, it was Nigeria’s number one shot at claiming an Oscar award.

But not anymore.

Lionheart has been disqualified by The Academy, on the basis of not being foreign enough; and having too much English.

If that’s a thing.

Nigerians can be a lot of things, but we go hard for each other. As expected, twitter is crowded with fuming patriots on the issue of the unjust disqualification of the movie.
