I was observing a baby trying to work some days back. The baby tried standing on his own and fell hitting his head on the tiled floor. The atmosphere became ecstatic as everyone burst into a mockery mood with all sort of comment like "with all the food you are eating in this house" "as old as you are you are still falling down" the mother did not join instead she pick the baby from the floor and wrapped him under her arms to give her some milk. Some days later, the boy try wallking this time he fell after some few steps. Alas few folks Still mock the baby....once again no comment from the mother. She picked the little boy from the floor. And gave her some milk. One fellow in the room even the mother is responsible for the boy not working. But the woman gave no heed to their comments. Now yesterday, the boy tried walking, first holding the wall, then few steps fell on his buttock and back to the wall and then the boy could make the few more steps. Then in the evening when everyone was home. The boy had master the craft and he can bow move few steps all of a sudden those mocking in the morning began sending nice words to the boy. They even put the boy photo on their phone.
Now the lessons....
Some expect that the instant you got into Christ then you stand firm....lies....it does not happen suddenly. The word mock for being a man of God, a child of God but still in the web of sin. They claim you are not deserving of the child of God accolade. But remember the scripture. In that while we are yet sinners, Christ died for us....they were not the one who died but Christ. Although being in a state of imperfection put you danger of spiritual death . but also remember the bible calls you babe. Learn to listen to your father more than you listed to spectators. Human will pass comment. They say things like no man can be righteous but the same bible says that God will give you righteousness as a blessing. Why will he give you if not that he saw your trying. He saw your secret. I have a message for you to hold to your Father's verdict not the crowd, pastor etc who just pass comment.
