They fought injustices before Obasanjo Killed Student Unionism after they graduated. Obasanjo used a tactics of tagging all vocal unionist as cultist and made the school authority too powerful, The school authority now started intimidating students by releasing list of any student who is vocal against oppression as Cultist, it was after these guys left that Nigerian universities Leadership were embolden to even increase the school fees, They waited for these vibrant student Union leaders to graduate before daring to increase school fees. these were the people who constantly push back to make education available to many. The same thing was happening in IFE and UI while powerful crop of intelligent Unionist took the stage of Leadership and became a model. They were massively persecuted by the Military some Killed
