Osinbajo Leave To Represent Buhari At ECOWAS Meeting In Niger by Pantoo: 11:55am On Nov 08, 2019 |
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is to represent President Muhammadu Buhari Friday in Niger, where an Extraordinary ECOWAS summit is holding to review the ongoing situation in Guinea Bissau. Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity Office of the Vice President, Laolu Akande, a tweet on his verified twitter handle @akandeoj, he said: VP Osinbajo to represent President Buhari today in Niger where an Extraordinary ECOWAS summit is holding to review the ongoing situation in Guinea Bissau. He will depart Abuja this morning and return later today.” There has been call for restraint and dialogue to end the latest political crisis in that West African country. Guinea-Bissau President Jose Mario Vaz triggered the latest escalation in an ongoing power struggle with the ruling PAIGC (African Party of the Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde) party, of which he was once a member. He recently sacked Prime Minister Aristides Gomes and named a replacement from a minority political party. But Gomes has refused to step down, escalating tensions ahead of an already delayed presidential election scheduled for November 24. 1 Like 1 Share |

This is the real state of affairs. Buhari TRUSTS Osinbajo well enough to continue representing the best interests of the country. Forget the barrage of fake news that wants us to believe nonsense. |

Joylove2324:Ask those haters, who fancy a war between Osinbajo and his boss and call him all sorts of names for failing to confront Buhari, this question.. When Jonathan, the bravest man in the world, cherished and worked for by ffk, reno and their fanboys, was been harrassed like a baby by Aondokaa and Turai, what did brave Jonathan or these fanatics do? They simply want Osinbajo to stick his neck out and have his head severed from his body for their own amusement and satisfaction. They don't give a shit about him and never will. They turned on the man just before the Supreme court judgement. When they failed to have his dp their bidding, they turned to the president's wife, encouraging here to turn against her husband... that as well failed. With their failure at the Supreme court, they've turned back on Osinbajo. But guess what...failure will they be met with yet again. |
