Nigeria immigration is happier extorting Nigerians who are even leaving the country to doing their due diligence when it comes to foreigners visiting the country. You can get a work permit for 5k from those jobless boys who stand in front of the immigration office at Festac or Ikeja.

lmao, so you think they don't? Smh. If only you know how strict Nigeria is with her visa policy. Any foreigner that doesn't have the necessary permit in Nigeria would surely be deported if caught. The only foreigner that Nigeria isn't strict with is ecowas citizens. I was close to Immigration, Ibadan centre, i know how brutal they are during those years.

So they issue permit, no one(foreigner) is living in Nigeria without the proper permit except those living illegaly and when caught will be deported.

Work permit procedures are almost same everywhere. Without an official job offer and acceptance, no work permit. Getting the job makes it hectic. How important will you be to some companies that they'll be giving you their documents(photocopy of course) to complete your work permit? Many company would even lose interest in you when they eventually hear you'd be needing this, that to process your permit and co when they can just hire someone that wouldn't be 'problematic/troublesome' except in some case which wouldn't mind helping out or already know your status before employing you.
