Any Biblical Explanation To Different Races? by Cumpel1615: 7:44am On Nov 10, 2019
Why do we have several races today, despite the fact that we all originated from Adam and Eve?

African
Hispanic
Caucasian
Chinese
Indian

And many more, yet we are told that we all originated from Adam and Eve.

So guys, I need explanation concerning this topic.

Thanks

No biblical explaination. The book is a compilation from thieves and rugs that are using conspiracy to manipulate the gullible

Hello.

Race is a very difficult word to use in this sense. Typically, people mean by it "groups of people that have similar physical appearance." That is all very well until we start looking closely at people. Can you tell the difference between a Chinese and a Vietnamese, for example? No? Well, can a Chinese tell the difference between a Hui and a Manchu? Yes? Are the Hui and Manchu different races then? No? How about the Somali? What race are they? African? Indian? Caucasian?

Race is a sociological construct for ease of identification, but it is always complicated, especially by intermarriages that produce nearly indeterminate features in the children.

In fact, my point is that the differences of race are really not much different than the differences of height, skin color, hair color, eye color, etc. Children tend to come out with somewhat different features than their parents. Some may be taller or shorter, have darker hair or lighter, different color eyes etc. All this is because of how the genes are mixed from the parents to produce each children.

Also, each successive generation only inherits half of the parents' collective gene pool. You get half of your mom's chromosomes and half of your dad's. Then these halves are scrambled in a way that produces a unique appearance in you. Then environment and nutrition does the rest.

This means that it is entirely reasonable to expect that Adam and Eve started out with a far more comprehensive gene pool than we have today. Each child that came from them would carry half of that and each child from that child would carry a quarter and so on down the line. Then when the Lord divided the nations, it is entirely to be expected that marrying among people like you only made the distinctions more pronounced down the ages.

This is not at all improbable. It is completely reasonable and to be expected.
