I will just cut it really short:

1. Obama is the C-in-C in the USA he gives personal LIVE/recorded weekly speeches to Americans, detailing some of the things his govt is doing
2. He is frequently helped out in this regard by his spokesperson, Robert Gibbs.
3. Obama takes the blame for the unfavorable backlash of both his own public announcements and those made on his behalf by Gibbs
4. Robert Gibbs is not blamed by Americans for anything, may be a few spats here and there with fellow press people.

Fast forward to Nigeria,

Our presidents, all of 'em, hardly make any regular public speeches. The facebook (fb) writings of Jonathan, am sure, are not appended by him directly. I doubt if he goes to fb personally. May be occasionally.

Rather than Jonathan, Dora makes the announcements from the govt meetings and she, unlike Gibbs, takes the heat for the backlash. I believe, in those meetings, her contribution in arriving at the things she has to announce is no more than those of any other minister. Essentially, she is just one of the pack of ministers; nothing exceptional about her ministerial[b]ness[/b] (my coinage). The president has the FINAL say.

During Yaradua's time, Dora and Yaradua's presidential spokesman (Adeniyi) shared the heat. Now, even Niboro, Jonathan's spokesman is let off the hook, because either Dora wants to be the one to tell us something-so we can behold her beautiful face on TV, or is forced to do so by default. Adeniyi has ''escaped'' to Harvard to cool off the heat.

Dora, stop the embarrassment to your person. Resign now and stop taking the heat for the president, whose job it is to do so, like Obama does.

You know one thing, they so much believe that Nigerians will take anything Dora says, given the goodname she earned while the NAFDAC boss. So they impose it on her and she ends up taking the blames. Dora Aku_[b]yori_yori [/b] is very intelligent and if allowed to rule that country will do better than those Nothern looters.
