ARE LAGOS OFFICIALS VIOLATING THEIR OWN RULE?

The notice on the Lagos State old secretariat says you are not to pay to collect your Driving Licence. But actually you do.

For renewal, someone had to cough out N2,900 that he did not bargain for because he had undertaken online processing and paid all the required fee of N8,500 or so in the bank.

FRSC prepares Driver's Licences but when he got to the pickup point, there the contradictions played out.

If you go to the Road Safety office at the place, you will be directed to the opposite side where Lagos officials process your pickup. There are two offices on the Lagos side
.
The first collects N500.

The second collects N2,400.

In view of the notice, are these payments regular?
