Last year, D'Tigress made history at the FIBA Women's World Cup where they became the first-ever African country to win a group-stage game with a win over Latvia. Nigerian wrestlers have dominated the continent and are doing the country so proud on the globe.

Two-time Commonwealth champion, Odunayo Adekuoroye is currently ranked no.2 in her weight class in the world.

In racket sports, Aruna Quadri is doing wonderfully well, putting Nigeria's name on the map.
