Here are the latest N-Power news headlines Are You Waiting For Us To Protest? – N-Power Beneficiaries Bemoan Unpaid October Stipend 2016 and 2017 beneficiaries of the Muhammadu Buhari administration’s N-Power scheme are still disgruntled by the non-payment of their October stipend. Beneficiaries’ stipends are not usually paid as and when due. Hence, some of the volunteers have besieged public platforms to call out Nigerian public office holders to the current situation as the eleventh month of the year enters day thirteen. Every month, the Nigerian government spends about N15 billion as stipends on over 500,000 volunteers of the N-Power scheme, a component of the National Social Investment Programmes (N-SIP). Read more here. N-Power October Stipend Payment To Start Today? There is nothing to be confident about that payment of the October stipend of N-Power beneficiaries will commence today. The handlers of the scheme are silent. The Federal Government programme do not have a fixed payday. Beneficiaries are settled anytime, we observed. The graduate volunteers who are roughly 500, 000 earn a monthly stipend of N30, 000 (approximately 83 US Dollars).
