Use the drug you were given for a while and observe changes. Incase you've been using the drug and there isn't any improvement yet, visit a state specialist hospital closest to you. They should direct you to run some tests or if it's anything serious, a visit to the dermatologist might be recommended.

Buy loratadine to stop the itching and calamine lotion to clear your skin.
Make sure your environment is always clean to prevent skin infections next time.

Dear, sorry for your troubles.
What kind of pharmacist was it you met?
How much of googling have you done about this, you never can tell how much useful info you can get by doing so. Also try and see a specialist in a related field at the hospital. Some govt hospitals can be useful especially if you are in Lagos, though there are lots of stress and protocols involved. Can you recall what you may have done that may have resulted in this?
Everything counts. Cheers.

Not really a medical expert. Consider visiting the hospital and follow up with them. Govt hospitals in Lagos can be useful if you stay there. Take care.
