The first primary school was founded in Badagry Lagos State by Thomas Birch Freeman in 1842 and still stands till date.

No,de first primary school in Nigeria is Presbyterian Primary School in Nsidung, Calabar.Lagos only has first secondary school,CMS grammar school.

The first primary school in Nigeria is in Badagry,Lagos state.It is a misleading information to say otherwise.
