KAROTA Reintroduces Daily N100 Tax For 'Keke NAPEP' Operators Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) said it has reintroduced the one hundred naira levy paid by tricycle operators daily in the state. The Managing Director of the Agency Baffa Babba Dan Agundi stated this on Monday shortly after defending the 2020 proposed budget of the agency before the State House of Assembly Committee on Housing and Transport. Dan-Agundi said the agency would generate not less than six billion in 2020, adding that such could be generated through the registration of tricycles and other commercial vehicles.
