Tottenham have finally sent manager Mauricio Pochettino home after five years in charge of the Premier League club. Spurs have made a disappointing start in the current season and are 14th in the Premier League ranking table. BBC sports editor Dan Roan believes Jose Mourinho is a strong contender to replace the 47-year-old Argentine, Pochettino. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy said that "We were extremely reluctant to make this change. i don't understand what some fans want. I read thru comments last week on the Tottemham official club facebook page. Most fans (about 70%) were calling for his sack. Lastnite, i again read thru same page, same fans were claiming to be unhappy he's been sacked. |
