6 Ways To Identify A Fake Android Battery. - Phones - by VARDIEN(m): 11:14am On Nov 20, 2019
Android smartphone is one of the most used mobile device with numbers reaching over 1.4 billion. While iOS has about 505 million users.
Most android devices have poor/ weak battery that could barely last up to 3hours+ trust me i know how annoying it gets when your battery barely last up to 2 hours. Cause, have been a victim of buying fake android battery.
The solution now is identifying and differentiating between an original/ fake andriod battery.

1: CHECK THE BATTERY MAH CAPACITY

Android devices have different mah from 1500 mAh reaching up to 5000mAh or more. Take for instance the infinix hot 2 [X510] one of the most used phone in nigeria has 2200 mAh battery. Go to any store and ask for infinix hot 2 battery what most stores would give you is 1450 mAh battery. Been sold for the price of an original battery instead of the real 2200 mAh battery.

Solution
• Buy directly from any reliable online retail stores like Jumia Nigeria , Konga Nigeria , Amazon

• Buy directly from the smartphone company
•Buy from a recommend store.

2:OBSERVE THE APPEARANCE

Most people barely notice this part. The appearance is necessary to know. It might be bigger, small or looks different from the original faulty battery.

Solutions
• Notice the appearance
• Check out if it's too big, small...
• if you not satisfied return it and check another store.

3:TEST IT'S DURATION

What i mean by this is check if the battery would last long. If you know any quick deflating return it ASAP.

Solutions

• The little test I do which you can try
• Plug in your battery
• Switch off your phone
• charge it after few minutes unplug the charger and plug it back after few sec or 1 minutes.
If it's an original battery the percentage would remain the same. If it's fake.. it would automatically increase. For instant battery status was 3% when you remove the charger and plug it in back it would increase to 20% .
• Advice able you return it back and ask for an original battery.

4:THE LOGO

This part is necessary only few people would notice this. I wouldn't go deep on this one cause, We all know that original logo is different from fake logo.

Solutions

• Always check the logo before purchasing a new battery.
• Notice the different in the logo might be bigger or smaller.

5: WEIGHT

Most android batteries are heavy actually, not all. Some are light while others are heavy. If you want to buy a new battery it's advice able you go with the original faulty battery so you can check the weight. If you notice any different don't buy it.

Solution
•IF battery is heavier or lighter that original don't buy. Advice able you go directly to the office for advice and solution.

6: CHECK THE MAKER

Hmmm the maker am sure you must have bought a battery and notice it was made in china, Malaysia or whatever. While, the original was product in USA, Finland, Japan etc.... all .

Solutions

• Not much to say
• Comply the battery and notice the maker.
