Photos shared online have drawn attention to the shocking state of Government Girls Science College, Agaie, in Niger state.

The girls' only college is in such a state of ruin that people are wondering how the students are able to cope under such conditions and still be expected to do well academically.

The photos show the sad state of the hostel where the girls sleep. The roof is already caving in, leaving parts of the dormitory open to the elements.

The rooms are in such a bad state that students have to strategically place buckets to catch rainwater that drops into the dormitory from the leaking roof.

Nigerians cant do something right for once

The difference between Nigeria and Hell is just in the name,

Even though the government deserves a special place in hell for this kind of eyesore, not everyone is fit to be a parent.

If you ask them, they'll say they're allowing the child to be hardened for the future. What nonsense! I'd better not put my son in school if I can't afford a better one than to let him live in squalor like a pig for non-comprehensive Naija version of education.

Some parents are so heartbreakingly negligent.

That looks like an abandoned hostel building, the bunks are without foams. Things can't be so bad in this country that a school authority will let people's children sleep in that kind of place.

We Nigerians are just too tolerant of our politicians. No strikes or protest marches for justice. To even think that this is a gov't college
