After that, I’ve noticed a usually radical and rambunctious Burnaboy become somewhat muted in recent interviews. And it seems to me that if Burna boy wasn’t being humble, he would never have agreed to return to South Africa to perform after the principled stance he took. Indeed one cannot help but wonder if his invitation was not some sort of elaborate trap meant to provide the relevant South Africans the opportunity to humiliate him. Nigerians are very naïve when it comes to understanding the sneaky and treacherous nature of Africans outside Nigeria and blacks to one another generally.
