Burna boy has to rethink his management team. Firstly, he should be careful of that mixed-raced African American Nigerian rapper ( Jidenna) who was on video the other day talking of how he advised Burna-boy and (whiz-kid (was it)? to always be humble. After that, I’ve noticed a usually radical and rambunctious Burnaboy become somewhat muted in recent interviews. And it seems to me that if Burna boy wasn’t being humble, he would never have agreed to return to South Africa to perform after the principled stance he took. Indeed one cannot help but wonder if his invitation was not some sort of elaborate trap meant to provide the relevant South Africans the opportunity to humiliate him. Nigerians are very naïve when it comes to understanding the sneaky and treacherous nature of Africans outside Nigeria and blacks to one another generally.

...but, as always, this may be fake news.

GistCandy:
There are reports that Burna Boy’s planned show in South Africa has been canceled amid the controversies surrounding it.

It would be recalled that gistcandy reported that South African artistes protested against Burna Boy performing at the show and also queried the exclusion of local artiste at the expense of Nigeria’s Burna Boy who they have accused of inciting hatred against South Africa, in the wake of the recent xenophobic attacks.

According to South Africa’s media house, Timeslive, the organizers decided to cancel the show because of the outrage it had created.

It also reports that the organizers of the show talked with Burna Boy’s management and decided to withdraw him from the concert and cancel his show.
