This is how they operate now unfortunately so long he's innocent they will let him go at the end and he will be just fine speaking from a friend's experience |

Odogu9195: SMH for this one. Useless comment too. What solution did you give the Op to get his friend released? None whatsoever. Yet you're attacking someone that added his own advice. One last question for you: With all your knowledge, how have you helped Africa grow exponentially to be at par economically with Europe and Asia? 1 Like |

victorava:The first mistake u made was not reporting the case as kidnap when u were initially told that his not at their office.now tell the lawyer in abuja not to go to the DSS officer and fill any application to see his client but to use legal measures to see his client.the lawyer should get an authorization from the court.believe me,they might be keeping him because of lack of evidence in which they are scared he might press charges against them.when the rights of a Nigerian are tempered with by law enforcement, they tend to keep you when confused about what to do.for the men in black, they torture you until u say what u did not do.the summary of what am saying is,do not allow them to intimidate you.use legal measures to fight back and if his released without charges, sue for damages immediately and be serious about it. 1 Like |

PrayerSlayer1: When Herod threatened to kee Jesus. God I mean a whole God told Mary and Joseph to take Jesus and run for their lives, it wasn’t sit down and Pray, but take action and run! This notion that we need to kneel and pray away our problems instead of looking for a realistic solution is pure fiction! It doesn’t help us as a society! You might not agree with me buh that ok, we all have different opinions. And Hey it takes a village, not a one man job, am guessing from your comment you are part of a generation of folks we call millennials, who think they can make instant impact in society whatever that means. And I swear to your God, I have provided 5 bags of rice and 100k in cash to widows last year alone, and am just 25 years old, what have you done?? Lemme guess you and your pastor have prayed for them instead |

well, so sorry to hear that man... I pray you see this because the comment section is, flooded already.. bro... same thing happened to me. Not DSS this time but Interpol. Na normal chancing. They showed up in a Highlander and Hilux all geared up like they're being deployed to Iraqi. Don't mind them because its an illegal arrest (probably) but they usually come prepared. And put up a darn good show. They'll prolly show you an arrest warrant (it's easy to get) Lay trumped up charges against you and intimidate you. Try and get lots of info from you and try to rope in one or two loose ends.. if you mention other peeps while running your mouth during their intimidation, they'll have you finance that movement and also rope those people along too. All from what you say to them... as against prosecuting you. The aim is to fleece your friend, braa You'll have to drop at least ₦1m to get bail... And if you don't play along, they'll get a court order right there in their office (because they have lawyers on ground) and freeze your acct. Funny thing is, they won't even charge you with any reasonable offense. AND SOCIAL MEDIA WON'T HELP YOU! I went on Twitter, tagged both EFCC, INTERPOL CYBER, INTERPOL, NPF yet nothing go happen bros. it's sad. HERE'S A SOLUTION: If you've not made contact with the guy at all then chances are he's not with the DSS. Because they usually let their preys contact a relative. Get a lawyer and move the case to court ASAP. except your friend isn't so clean. In court, the lawyers usually push for a bail while investigation is ongoing. And if truly there's no case to answer then you guys can start out of court resolution. Or... You just settle once and for all (but you can never tell how it plays out because you're coming from a weak angle when you propose to settle) how I think it works: someone tips them off esp. bankers who monitor your account for a while. and if you have anything close to 5m and above then you're the perfect prey. Because at all at all, something go comot. They'll probably print out the necessary documents needed to whisk you away and do just that. They'll take you to ABJ FCIID and one guy at the ABJ OFFICE AREA F forming Honourable, he's work is to act as an intermediary between the cops and the victim. He negotiates the release and prolly takes a cut out of the whole cheese you drop. Its pretty messed up and 100% hardcore what goes down in our legal & security department. Everyone gets a cut from the CP of DSS to the boys. its like getting stuck between the Devil and the Deep Sea. Anywhere you turn to you're fired by the horns of the bull charging at you head-on. LONG LIVE THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA. Bad Cops are everywhere in every country but as much as it hurts me to say this, ours is NEXT LEVEL. And it's heartbreaking . I can't have kids in this country man. I won't forgive myself if I do. 3 Likes |

You better go and find something doing. People are building houses, going to Dubai, enjoying their lives. You are there lamenting. What contributions have you made in your local community if i may ask? Only to look for a reasons to channel your frustrations as if the people who made it your so called failure are not people like you and i. Dannieln1: |
