As Season Six of the Next Titan reaches its eviction stage, contenders and groups have found themselves entwined in new challenges that will keep them in the house for the ultimate price as Week 8 comes to an end.

Also as the end of the show draws closer, the next two weeks would be the most important and challenging part of it- survival of the fittest.

The Next Titan Nigeria is an entrepreneurial reality TV show which has been on since 2014. It is a show that was put together to encourage, groom and mentor young entrepreneurs in Nigeria to become more than they already. The winner of the show usually wins a sum of N5 million to support their business, but this season, it has been increased to N7 million. The sum is the starter pack for any winner given as
grant to be put into his/her business to help make business better, provide more solutions and create more jobs for the unemployed.

It is a known fact that starting a business in Nigeria can be extremely challenging, especially due to recession which hit the country some years ago. The economy has not favoured businesses and being a startup has proven even more challenging.

The Next Titan Nigeria has created a platform where upcoming and young entrepreneurs can learn about the intricate and realities of Entrepreneurship. The good thing about the show is that it has improved from the winner going home with N5m to N7m this year. The sponsors have also increased in number encouraging entrepreneurship in nigeria

That is not all,
apart from the improved production quality of the show, the number of interested applicanrs have remarkably increased during audition from 5000 -7000 in its early seasons to 18000 people this year.

During the course of each season of the show, the contestants are given weekly tasks after which a team is declared as winner, while the losing team has to nominate some of its members to be put up on probation. This is usually an emotional moment but also builds the entrepreneurs competitive spirits.

The tasks build the entrepreneurs by opening their minds to new possibilities and grooms their self believe and esteem. It also trains them in areas like formal report writing, presentations, elevator pitches, time management, proper planning and execution.

One of the contestants of the current season, Season 6, Dr. Olatunde Kuti had to leave his job at the time just to participate in this life changing show. He could have made a decision not to but the benefits of the show were worthy enough for him. Other entrepreneurs who have fought their way here have been all have their stories of The Next Titan Journey but, one thing that is common to all is the Fire within...the passion, the drive, the tenacity and audacity to conquer and make the Nigeria a better place.

Most people baulk and complain when faced with challenges but serious minded, committed and dedicated people, do not just see the problem, they take the bull by the horns and create solutions which can change the status quo.

This is what the Executive Producer of The Next Titan Nigeria, Nigeria, Mr. Ayomide Kunle-Akinlaja. Himself, an entrepreneur who is well versed with the struggles that Entrepreneurs face in trying to get their business idea off the ground.

He fondly recalls how one of his earlier ventures failed. He had negotiated an agreement to execute one of his brilliant business ideas and had secured the support of a prominent rich Nigerian at the time. However he saw his dream scuppered in the twinkle of an eye when one of the staff he had brought in to work on the project made a phone call looking to confirm certain details about the project without seeing clearance from him first.

Despite his many attempts to try to save the situation including making an impromptu trip to see the said investor, he was literally thrown out of the investor's office and it was on his way returning to Lagos by road that the foundations for what is today know as The Next Titan Nigeria reality TV show began to form and with a never say die attitude and the willingness to dare what many thought to be impossible, it became a reality and today The Next Titan is Nigeria's biggest and foremost entrepreneurial reality TV show.

"It is this never say die attitude and can do spirit that I have always wanted to see fanned to flame in the entrepreneurs who come for The Next Titan Nigeria show and it is no surprise that even participants who never got to win the grand prize in the show have still gone on to achieve amazing feats in the business world" says Mr. Akinlaja.

This season is already in and is currently in its 8th week with the finale to hold on the 8th of December 2019 and of the 16 entrepreneurs who made it into the top 16 academy only 8 are left to vie for the grand prize of N7m and a brand new Ford Car.

I thought it was over. Lol. The author is probably engrossed in the out-of-house antics of BBNaija housemates. I’ve never heard of this show and do not care for it.
