Focus: Breaking Principles

WORD FOR TODAY
Wherever the principles of God are broken, His promises are delayed. The Lord is ever committed to bringing His words to pass; the blessing of obedience and the punishment of disobedience!!!

Each time a man breaks the principle of God he has succeeded in breaking His promises over him. The Lord will only take responsibility over your life irrespective of who you are and what you claim to be before men if you are walking in obedience to His principles.

All men who saw how the eyes of Samson was plugged out will say the Lord has abandoned him; whereas Samson on many occassion broke the principle of God and that of his calling. When a man keeps living his life contrary to God's principles he keeps subjecting the efficacy of the power of God in his life.

The fact that God is merciful does not change the fact that He does not compromise His principles. The Lord does not give up on us when we go astray but will always wait and delay His promises until we get it right with him. Hence, there are some miracles that will not happen in the life of a man until he walks in perfect obedience before God.

Lord! I receive the grace to walk in obedience to your principles in Jesus name. Amen!!!
