It's no longer news that flinging of bags and other crimes including window shopping is now rampant in Sapele, especially as we draw close to the Xmas.

Just of recent, one out of two bag flingers was caught during their usual operation Snatch Bag.

The report has it that they were given a hot chase for hours by Mob after they went to snatch a woman's bag around 9a.m in Ajimile Village in Sapele, Delta State.

One narrowly escaped and the unlucky was caught, beaten and almost burnt, but after much plea, he handed over to the police.

Na on Sunday morning wey pass so, nai dem apprehend one out of two bag snatchers around 9am to 10am inside Ajimele wey go snatch one woman bag inside Ajimele village. Dem chase dem with bike men for over one hour from there to Ugbeyiyi, to Ajogodo down to Eris School corner until one jump the high fence through that road by Eris School gate to the cannal while bike man jamb the other one leg he nor come fit jump. Though some person's nearly burn am, but others come plead before dem carry for keke take "rekade" (carry) am go station go deposit for Cell ATM. Na him pictures dey attached to this update so.

Also yesterday we report how dem trace one guy from bank wey go collect 500k as dem open the door of the car where he park put for Okpe Road, and disarm the 500k from he car. For this one, make banks try to follow up their policy and checkmate loitering and idle sitting for inside the bank and outside the bank premises. Banks security team, make unu start to work well and make unu also map out strategy to abolish such happening for bank.
