We learnt the dance step of survival,
When life wore us the shadows of our Father.
We became a Stone :
Even when broken, we remain strong.
Like a flowing water,
We marched on,conquering every danger.
We challenged life to a fight,
Fighting bravely, like men with a lion heart.
We became a word on the lips of the next generation,
A word that describes men who defeated their tribulation.
Men who left their footprints in the sand of time,
Even when their paths were covered with mines.
Even after being lost, forgotten and left alone
Like a pin in the middle of an ocean.
