Nurse Job summary

Clinicalls, www.clinicalls.com, Africa's foremost telemedicine platform is in need of home care nurses to provide nursing home services to it's patients.

The company is seeking the services of certified, resourceful and compassionate nurses to rapidly fill up it's spaces for nurses. The nurses are allowed to select their work hours and how many patients they may attend to per week and payment is "pay as you work basis".

The nurse determines his or her work hours, and how much he or she may earn by clocking in those days on the Clinicalls' platform.

Clinicalls works with patients of all ages and backgrounds who require daily care in their homes. Most of our patients are elderly and/or terminally ill, so we hire the most compassionate and thoughtful talent in the field. You will be responsible for managing a heavy case load, so time management skills are essential. However, it is important to provide each patient with the time and attention necessary to meet his or her needs. If you enjoy working one-on-one with patients outside of a clinical setting, submit your resume.

Nurse responsibilities and duties

Assess patients’ condition during every visit and chart your observations.

Perform evaluation tasks, including vital signs and medication review.

Administer medication as prescribed by the patient’s Physician.

Dress or redress open wounds and assess progress of healing.

Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures.

Coordinate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physicians and anyone else involved in the patient’s care plan.

Provide palliative care as needed to keep the patient comfortable.

Make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the patient’s quality of life.

Listen to the patient and respond to concerns or requests and other similar services.

The Services are often determined by the plan subscribed by the patient as listed on the Clinicalls platforms.


Required qualifications and skills:

To be eligible to apply for this job, you must have obtained a Bsc in Nursing or its equivalent.

You must be registered to practice as a Nurse in Nigeria and certified by all relevant regulatory bodies.

Additional certification exams is an advantage.

Other required Skills.

2+ years’ experience in in-home or palliative care.

Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Compassionate and friendly demeanor.

Ability to visit multiple patients per day.

Good understanding of use of phone gadgets.

Good interpersonal relationship.
