Sometimes in 2017, I had a boyfriend (it’s always a boy matter) who wanted me to lose weight and lose it fast. So I decided to fight for my relationship and began to aggressively work towards my weight loss. I would run, jog and walk a total of 6 kilometers every morning. I am not kidding you.

Every morning, I would put on my fitness gear, plug in my headphones and just continue to switch between running, jogging and walking. I didn’t do it alone though. I forced my siblings to partake whether they needed the exercise or not. Then I would settle to breakfast of 2 eggs fried in so little coconut oil and take coffee or water. Lunch would then be vegetables or beans with water. Dinner was always smoothie that I would make by myself. This was my routine everyday and boy, did it work?
