Mine displays pictures oo. I even download funny memes and pictures with free basics.

this only happens with mtn freebasics when ur daily allocation is finished and sometimes it happens randomly,
This is not a nairaland problem, but from mtn freebasics

I noticed same too but mine have started working.

Opera mini.. but I am currently using Chrome and it's working well

I think the fault is from my opera mini browser.. currently using Chrome and everything is fine.

i have experienced this on chrome, opera and phx browser when using mtn,
But on Airtel, no issue at all

Use freebasics app with 9mobile and thank me later, i use it a lot when im out of data, download it from google play, don't download the one on the freebasic site as it expires

The reason I tot it was Nairaland issue was because it was wasn't working with my Etisalat and Airtel sim.. I was hoping someone would open a thread to complain but nothing, the fact is I don't even use MTN for free basics, it's Etisalat because na unlimited.
