You are right about both. But those ones have always been with nairaland since its been created, not just 2019.

They're perennial, so I decided to skip them.

Hugging in public does not signify friendship or peace.

Politicians are not as simple or nice as pictures portray.

But neither of them is going to kill the other, like their supporters kill each other.

So the embrace is still a sign to youths who sell their lives for a gun and a few bucks.

aniekanekahoffi:
Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Chief Godswill Akpabio, today embraced Senator Engr Chris Ekpenyong, at the Maiden Convocation Ceremony of Ritman University, Ikot Ekpene.

Recall that in the 2019 Senatorial election, Godswill Akpabio had lost to Senator Christopher Ekpenyong, who contested on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Akpabio, who contested on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) had gone to court to challenge Ekpenyong’s landslide win at the polls, alleging that the election was marred by irregularities.

The court had ordered a rerun within 90 days only in Essien Udim Local Government Area.

Will Akpabio participate in the rerun? Is this a sign that Senator Chris Ekpenyong has been given a pass? Nigerians are watching!

Akpabio is not even campaigning for the elections, it means he has conceded that position to him because if he resigns as Minister, Buhari may leave that position vacant and Akwaibom will lose whatever he can attract to the state.

He remains popular in the state although in the wrong party. Udom to inject some zeal in the running of his Govt to gain the kind of popularity that Akpabio enjoys in the state.
Akpabio needs to think out of the box by using his current position to increase the fortunes of APC and convince Akwaibomites to accept APC

Beautiful analysis.

A major difference between the rich and the poor is the amount of knowledge acquired.

The knowledgeable ones moves on from disputes while the poor will rather keep malice.

If you think you are poor, learn to move on from unprofitable disputes.
